Recommended Rates:
- Established Roses:
Apply 55 grammes (2oz) evenly around the base of the plant in early Spring, keeping off stems and leaves and hoe in lightly. Water if the soil is dry and then repeat the application during the summer prior to a second flush of blooms.
- Established Beds:
Apply 135 grammes per metre square (4oz per square yard) in early spring, then top dress with 70 grammes per metre square (2oz per square yard) in late May and Early July
- New Roses:
Mix 55 grammes (2oz) with the bottom soil ensuring the hole dug is both deep enough and wide enough to allow the roots to spread out evenly. The bud union should be 2.5cm (1") below the soil level when planting is completed.
